A new beginning!

So it's been a few months since my last post & many things have changed since then. First and foremost I married my incredible Jacob. Well with this amazing change, I have decided it's time for another change....a new blog! That's right, a new blog not only for me, but for Jacob as well. I am just starting to get stuff on there. (Finally) With the move and lack of internet I am way behind. Don't be surprised if it's not up & running at full speed quite yet. I am working on it though. If you would like to visit us come on over & check out the new blog. www.thefabulousbeecherblog.blogspot.com

Time is flying by....

Remember the days of the paper chains....I loved getting the colored paper, glue, and scissors out, sitting down and putting the chain together. Most often it was a countdown to Christmas chain. Life has changed just a bit, but the excitement of the chain & the countdown has not lost it's magic. The countdown isn't for Christmas, but for my very own wedding.

As much as I'd like to pull out the paper & get to work, time just won't permit that right now. So I will have to make do with this picture and a post!
As of today there are 18 days until the big day. I so can't believe it is right around the corner. So many changes have taken place in my life this last year. The most fabulous of all would be Jacob coming into my life. Who knew blind dates really worked out? Never say never...
I have become a St George resident again. I really didn't think I would end up back in Utah's Dixie, but I couldn't be happier. Jacob & I found a townhome that we both love and are closing on a few days before or after the wedding depending on a few things. We will be living by the Southgate golf course right behind the Ford dealership. I am so looking forward not only to starting a life with Jacob, but also setting up a home together.
We took the bridal pictures and most of the wedding pictures this week. We had a really good time & the weather was perfect for our photo shoot. We spent most of our time on temple square and then inside the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Signe & Nick Adams were amazing to work with & made it so much fun. I can't wait to see how the pictures turned out! I know I have been lost from the blogging world lately, but as you can see my life has been quite exciting lately. I will post pics and all the details of the next few weeks as soon as I can.

Sun Chips + Ants= So not right!

A little story for one & all. I was at work today & decided to grab me a bag of chips, it may have been 10:30 am but I was starving. So I start eating said bag o' chips & they were kinda stale, but let us remember I was starving, so I ask Jillian to taste them. She agreed that they were stale but not too bad. A few minutes later I look down & see an ant on the counter. I don't think anything other than, "how did that get all the way up here." I continue to eat a couple chips here & there. Pretty soon I notice 3 ants on the counter. 1 is random, but 3, something is not right! Jillian looks in the bag & couldn't see any in there, but where else could they have been coming from? So I take out most of the chips & look in.....guess what I see? Oh yeah, lots & lots of those creepy crawling little critters. I know they aren't super creepy or crawly, but let's remember I had been eating those chips!!!! Can we say DISGUSTING??? It totally grossed me (and those who I shared the story with) out. Needless to say I threw the bag away & will probably have a hard time eating Sun Chips for a while. No, I did not save the bag or call & tell anyone what little surprises I had found in my bag of chips. It was just yucky!!! The question still remains.....How do little ants get into a sealed bag of Sun Chips?

Who doesn't love the RoDEo!!!!

Every year over the 24th we make a trip to the Fiesta Days Rodeo.
If you haven't been, I totally suggest you try it out next
year. This year we didn't actually make it on the 24th, but
the night before. I have to say it was one of the better years! There
were actually a couple bull riders who stayed on for the full 8 secs. Good times!!!
What cute girls....
....does this shot look familiar?
Even cuter girls....
Justin & Alexis...check out her sore eye.
Amber's sporting a new look....the backwards cowgirl hat!
It's going to be all the rage next year.
Sisters....sisters...never were there such adorable sisters
Aww, aren't they a cute couple?
It's the bulls & blood, the dust & mud, it's the roar of a summer crowd...
I am totally miss quoting Garth Brooks, but you get the idea. I may be moving to St George, but don't you worry, I will try to make it "home" for the rodeo.

Just a little FYI...

To say life has been a bit crazy would be an understatement. I am not complaining at all & I wouldn't change a thing, but crazy it is. I guess I should start & give a few more wedding details. Jacob & I are getting married in the Salt Lake Temple on Oct 6. (Yes, it is a Tues) We will have a reception Sat the 10th in LaVerkin & an open house in Salem on Sat the 17th. Invitations will be coming...they are so flipping cute! I can't begin to say how excited & happy I am. I was lucky enough to find a job, pushing pills, in St George so I will be moving back down in about 3 weeks. (Could I have picked a hotter time to go?) So bring on the heat & all that comes with it!

He put a ring on it!

That's right.....Jacob proposed! We are getting married!!!!!! I was so surprised when he got down on one knee I may have gasped. Ok ok...I did gasp. I'm not going to lie there were tears as well. I was so not expecting it. He totally surprised me. He knew I love the beach, it was the perfect place & time.
This is the picture right after he asked. Can we say red rimmed eyes? I did this before he proposed. I just thought it would be cute, little did i know.
So cute!
We all know I love squishing my toes in the sand. Jacob may think I am a bit strange, but he joined in the fun.
Ta DA.....my beautiful sparkly ring. I love this ring. It's so pretty & it sparkles. Of course I love it! These are just a few pics of the beach & our trip to Cali. I wanted to get at least some of them on. I will post the rest sometime soon.

Drum Roll....

Many of you know that I have been dating someone for the last 4 months & I have been a total slacker in posting any pics of him,(as I have been told by many of the same people) So, here you go....
This is Jacob. (Isn't he adorable?) Jacob is an incredible man & I think I am a pretty lucky girl to have him in my life!
He's going to kill me when he finds out that I put this pic on. I think it's funny & so Jacob, and since this is my blog I guess it's all good. I have to say again what a lucky girl I am, I am not biased at all, but I will also ask...how flippin cute are we?
